:dateline:Daya Singh Lahoria, who is serving his sentence in Delhi’s Tihar Jail, was admitted to the Deen Dayal Hospital due to a serious infection.
He is awaiting a much needed operation, for which he applied to the courts over 5 months ago.
The court has now requested that Daya Singh’s medical report be submitted by 10th October, which is when the decision on when and where the operation will take place is expected to be made.
Sikh Organisation for Prisoner Welfare (SOPW) will keep the sangat updated on any progress made.
