DABWALI, Haryana—Punjab chief minister (CM) Parkash Badal faced a huge protest staged by supporters of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) on Monday (Oct 6). The latter showed black flags to the SAD (B) patron who was here to participate in the election campaign of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD).

Supporters of HSGMC led by member Jagvir Singh Bhaati kept total secrecy over their plan. As the caravan of Parkash Badal reached village Mithiri the HSGMC supporters showed black flags to Badal.

A clash between Badal Dal workers and HSGMC supporters also took place that left one of the HSGMC supporters injured slightly.

HSGMC leaders said that armed persons have been occupying Sikh Gurdwaras in Haryana. They said that Badal had no right to send armed persons to forcibly occupy Sikh Gurdwaras in Haryana.
