:dateline:Manjit Singh GK, who is in BC, Canada, �was approached by BC Sikh sangat in relation to some of his comments made on a trip to UK. �GK had earlier made some comments on Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindrawale and had stated that he had a mission to turn the Sikh diaspora living outside of India into a community proud of their homeland – India.
In the videos, Sikh Sangat can be seen questioning him on various issues. �Backtracking on his earlier statements, GK clarifies that he considers Sant Bhindrawale a martyr and that Sikhs had the right to stand up for Khalistan. �He however stated that he was proud to be Indian since Sikhs have�played a major role in ensuring the independence of the country. �GK refused to comment on the involvement of Sumedh Saini in the killings of innocent Sikhs across Punjab. �
Sumedh Saini is currently the Director General�of the Punjab Police, despite number of allegations against him of abusing human rights and killing Sikhs during the 1980s and early 1990s. �Manjit Singh GK is the president�of the Delhi Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee (SGPC)�and a representative of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal).
