:dateline:Senior Delhi High Court advocate and Aam Aadmi Party Leader from Ludhiana, HS Phoolka, has asked the former Indian Prime Minister why he remained quiet over�an attack on his residence during the Government sponsored Sikh pogroms of 1984. �Thousands of Sikhs were massacred in broad day light during the pogroms.

Dr. Manmohan Singh’s house in the Ashok Vihar region of New Delhi was attacked by mobs. �This revelation was made by Daman Singh, daughter of the former Prime Minister. �The statement was made publicly on a TV channel. �Daman has claimed that her family knew the mobs who had set the house on fire.

HS Phoolka has fought many legal cases for the victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh genocide.�On the other hand, Dr. Manmohan Singh was chosen as the Prime Minister of India by the Congress Party. �A number of senior Congress leaders are fighting legal cases against their alleged involvement in instigating massacres of Sikhs in New Delhi and other parts of the country.

HS Phoolka expressed grief over the fact that Dr. Manmohan Singh has remained quiet over the incident. �Phoolka alleged that Dr. Manmohan Singh’s house was saved from being fully destroyed, however in the same locality, a number of other Sikhs were murdered. �In addition, four Gurdwaras, number of houses and shops owned by Sikhs were burnt down.

  1. Why continue to protect those who came to burn down your house even after 30 years?
    Completely apathetic behaviour and revealing of the debilitating despair that lingers to this day.
