—Dal Khalsa today strongly condemned the killing of a Sikh businessman and the injuring of another two Sikh by an unknown gunman in a north-western city of Pakistan.
Party spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh said the unknown gunman had fired indiscriminately on Sikhs at Shadab market in Hashtnagri area of Peshawar city. He said the innocent Sikhs were being targeted with without fault or reason.
He urged the Mian Nawaz Sharif government to take firm steps to ensure the safety and protection of the lives and properties of minority communities in Pakistan. He said the Pakistan government must nab and punish the miscreant killers so as to ensure justice to the aggrieved family.
