:dateline:Giani Gurbachan Singh, appointed Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, has called Haryana Sikh leaders Jagdish Singh Jhinda, and Didar Singh Nalwi at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on July 2 at 11:00 a.m. Both have been summoned in relation to the issue of separate Gurdwara Committee, that is set to be announced on July 6. Both Jhinda and Nalwihave been struggling for the demand of separate committee for management of Gurdwaras in Haryana.

Giani Gurbachan Singh told a Sikh24 correspondent that he would discussthis issue andconvinceJhinda and Nalwaitostop their campaign to create rifts among Sikh community.

It is not known if the summons by appointed Jathedar were a result of the SGPC executive meeting that took place earlier today. Despite efforts made by the SGPC, the demand for separate committee receives sizable support from all segments of Sikhs living in Haryana, including many of the Haryana SGPC members belonging to the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal).

If the Haryana leaders, including Jhinda and Nalvi, do not comply with the Jathedar, they could facestern action.
