:dateline:AAP candidate from Patiala, Dr. Dharamvira Gandhi has been assaulted today by 20-25 unidentified goons at village Rasoolpura situated in the constituency. The goons reportedly belonged to�Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) -�Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) counselor from ward number 12 Rajinder Singh Virk at the village.
�Without getting proper treatment for deep injuries, Dr. Gandhi along with his party workers, staged a Dharna on Patiala-Sarhind highway and jammed traffic in protest of the attack.�Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders have demanded strict action against the accused.
