Amritsar Sahib— Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal, who is on a three day Punjab visit, paid obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib, the holiest Sikh shrine, on Friday. After praying for success of Aam Aadmi Party at Darbar Sahib, he carried out a grand road show in support of AAP candidate from Sri Amritsar, Dr. Daljit Singh, that received a huge response from local people. He also paid obeisance at Sri Akal Takht Sahib (highest temporal seat of Sikhs). He was accompanied by his followers including AAP candidate from Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat Advocate Harvinder Singh Phoolka and from Bathinda seat Punjabi singer Jassi Jasraj.
Kejriwal, who arrived here by train Thursday night, was welcomed by a huge crowd of AAP supporters at the station. However, he chose to avoid media queries.
He will be visiting Ludhiana on Saturday 12 during which he will carry out a mega road show in support of Advocate Phoolka. As per information provided to Sikh24.com by Mr. Phoolka’s daughter Advocate Prabhsahay Kaur Phoolka, the road show will begin from Jalandhar Bypass at 1.00 P.M. and pass through Dana Mandi, Jodhewal Basti, Samrala Chowk, Cheema Chowk, Partap Chowk, Sangeet Cinema, Jaimal Siingh road, Gill Road, Bus Stand, Bhagat Nagar Chowk, Aarti Chowk, Ghumar Mandi, Maharani Jhansi road, Fountain chowk, Cemitry Road, Petrol Pump, Dandi Swami Road, Haibowal Chowk, Habowal Main market, police station Habowal, Hambra road, Rishi Nagar Chowk (Redquarter), Hambra Road, PAU, and will conclude at Sarabha Nagar. Mr. Kejriwal will appeal to voters of the Ludhiana constituency to vote for Advocate Phoolka.
