Rapper “Honey Singh” Stands with Delhi Gurdwara Committee and Akalis in Favour of BJP

NEW DELHI, India—The notorious rapper “Yo Yo Honey Singh” has been picked by Delhi Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee, and Akali Dal (Badal) to sing the praises of Parvesh Verma, and Narendra Modi in West Delhi. The rapper is known for singing immodest songs, and has been booked several times in criminal cases. Sikhs in New Delhi have alleged that it was shameful for Manjinder Singh Sirsa to stand next to Honey Singh to lure Sikh votes. Honey Singh does not represent Sikh spirit as most of his songs are lustful, and arrogant.

Workers of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) and Akali Dal (Badal) have been promoting Parvesh Verma in West Delhi which is a stronghold of the Sikh community. Parvesh Verma, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) candidate from West Delhi, is facing a tough challenge by Jarnail Singh of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Jarnail Singh, who has come into limelight recently, is the former journalist who tossed a shoe at P. Chidambaram. Local Sikhs have worked hard to bring the current management of Delhi Gurdwaras into power by sacking the party of Paramjit Sarna, however lately there has been much uproar about the current committee indulging in pitiful politics to promote BJP.
