Stockton Gurdwara Sahib to Hold 16th Annual Nagar Kirtan on April 13

STOCKTON, California, USA—The Sikh Sangat of Gurdwara Sahib Stockton will be holding the 16th annual Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan on April 13, 2014, at the historical shrine of the Gadri Babas.  The nagar kirtan procession is dedicated to the 315th anniversary of Khalsa Sajna Divas, or Khalsa Day.  Hazoori Ragi Bhai Ravinder Singh Ji, Kathavachak Bhai Sarabjit Singh Ludhiana, and Dhadhi Bhai Saroop Singh Kadiana will be taking part in the nagar kirtan.

Amrit Sanchar initiation ceremony will be held on April 12, at 8 AM in the morning.  Anyone wishing to partake in the Amrit ceremony is requested to contact Bhai Daljit Singh, Gurdwara Sahib secretary at 209-373-7000.

Stockton Nagar Kirtan is one of the major Sikh parades organized in California. Sikhs from all parts of the State take part in the celebrations.  Like every year, arrangements for parking have been made at San Joaquin Fairgrounds, and buses will be transporting the sangat congregation to the gurdwara throughout the day.
