Near the end of March, Kajriwal led a road show in Chandigarh in support of AAP Candidate from Chandigarh Gul Panag, and received huge response from public. Advocate Phoolka, who has been fighting a legal battle for justice on behalf 1984 Sikh genocide victims, also participated in the road show.
Due to its pro-minority agenda, AAP has impressed the Sikhs very much, and many Sikh activists are contributing to its candidates. Many Sikh thinkers, however, are of the opinion that the wave of AAP spreading across India is strengthening the nation building process in India begun by ultra nationalist Hindu forces, including Rashtrya Sawam Sewak Sangh (RSS).
