AMRITSAR SAHIB— The ticket allotment to Arun Jaitley by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of the Amritsar constituency by the grace of Badal Dal, is being opposed by Khalra Mission Organization (KMO), a Sikh rights group.

In a statement made by its patron, Dalbir Singh, President Harmandeep Singh, spokesperson, Satwinder Singh Plasaur, Virsa Singh Behla, and Satwant Singh Manak said that Badal played avital role in allocation of the BJP ticket to Arun Jaitly, senior leader of the Hindu right wing political party.

“It is shameful for Badal that he had a ticket given to Jaitly from Guru Ki Nagri of a party who is responsible for breaking the communal harmony of society. The Sikh activists emphasized that Arun Jaitly,  a law minister, has implemented draconian laws like the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA).
