:dateline:Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal has appreciated the stand taken by Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal during the hunger strike of Bhai Iqbal Singh Bhatti (France).� Kejriwal supported Sikhs by seeking an investigation into the 1984 Delhi Genocide as well as death penalty relief for Sikh political prisoner Professor Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar. Baba Daduwal passed a statement that Kejriwal would soon be honoured during a big political rally by the Sikh congregations of Punjab.
Baba Daduwal stated that the issues taken up by Arvind Kejriwal have been ignored by all other political parties and leaders. �He said that he is in touch with Kejriwal and speaks to him from time to time about Sikh affairs. �He said that the gathering would take place depending on Kejriwal’s schedule.
When asked about supporting the Aam Aadmi Party in the upcoming elections in Punjab, Baba Baljit Singh stated that support from Sikhs would be “issue-based” however the AAP would remain a preferred choice of Sikhs since the Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal along with Bhartiya Janta Party had all worked against the interests of the Sikhs.
During the recent hunger strike by Bhai Iqbal Singh Bhatti, Arvind Kejriwal had issued a letter of support promising to take up the issues of Prof. Davinderpal Singh Bhullar’s release and to establish a fast track court to punish the guilty leaders responsible for Sikh massacres in 1984.

This is simple and basic politics being played by “Baba” Just because some political persona has made a statement in the Sikhs favor does not mean anything. Honouring him at a political rally just means politics and nothing more.
I am surprised that the team at Sikh24 has not questioned the motives of the “Baba” and the AAP going forward.
