:dateline:A large scale nagar kirtan (religions procession) was taken out from Sri Akal Takhat Sahib in memory of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, 10th Guru of the Sikhs. �The nagar kirtan was organized by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and number of Panthik Sikh organizations took part in it.
The Nagar Kirtan was led by Panj Pyare under guidance of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. �Various ragi jathas from Harmandir Sahib did kirtan throughout the way and gatka akharas (teams) demonstrated Sikh martial art of Gatka.
The nagar kirtan went through parts of Amritsar located close to Sri Harmandir Sahib complex. �The streets were cleaned up and decorated by the Sikh Sangat. �Like its annual route, the Nagar Kirtan crossed�Brahm Buta Market, Mahna Singh Road, Ghanta Ghar Chowk, Mai Sewa Bazaar, Chintpurni Chowk, and other places. �The nagar kirtan concluded at Gurdwara Manji Sahib.
