��For the release of �people who have already passed their stipulated time in prison, from 14th November, Bhai Gurbaksh singh� has been on hunger strike and masses not only from Punjab but around the globe have been supporting him. Maharashtra’s Sikh population at Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib, Nanded, held silent demonstrations to release Sikh political prisoners. They also have given letters addressed �for �Prime Minister, Home minister, Law minister and Punjab chief minister with demands to deputy commissioner of Nanded.
This march was directed by� takht sachkhand morch superintendent Rajinder Singh and other members of board Gurmeet Singh Mahajan, Gurmeet Singh Nawab, Tejwant Singh Khera, Major Singh and other important persons were also present. Apart from them Teghveer Singh, Hardev Singh, Inderbir Singh, Narinder Singh, Kuljeet Singh, Harpreet Singh, Resham Singh, Darshan Singh,Charanjeet Singh, Tejwant Singh and masses became a part of this and signed the demand letter. This letter states that many Sikhs across the country are in jail and they are liable for freedom due to their good character and completion of their punishment �but due to discrimination Sikhs are prisoned and are ill treated.
