Leicester, UK—A man has denied attempting to murder a Naamdhari Cult leader who was attacked at a temple in Leicester.
Uday Singh, was newly appointed as the worldwide head of the Namdhari Cult and was assaulted at Gurdwara Namdhari Temple in Leicester.
Harjit Singh Toor, 27, from Woods Close, Oadby, Leicestershire, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court, where he pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
He was remanded into custody awaiting a trial at Birmingham Crown Court.
Naamdharhi cult leader Uday Singh was attacked at the temple in Spinney Hill in August, and was treated at hospital for his injuries.
