:dateline:Police can confirm that a body which was found in the River Aire near to Leeds Train Station yesterday (Thursday, 5 December) has been formally identified as missing woman Seemberjeet Kaur.
Ms Kaur, who was from East Bowling, was reported missing on 23 October and a number of public appeals for information about her whereabouts have been made since then.
Police were called to Leeds at 1.35pm yesterday following� a report from a member of the public of a body in the river.
A post mortem examination has been carried out and the death is not being treated as suspicious. Ms Kaur’s next of kin has been informed.
