Interestingly, Giani Gurbachan Singh, Jathedar Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, has come in as third.� Parkash Badal, the Punjab CM has come in at fourth place.
The Sikh Directory�s website � theSikh100.com lists Dr. Manmohan Singh as �highly acclaimed as a thinker and a scholar.�
Montek Singh Ahluwalia, an Indian economist has been selected for serving India in various departments.
Giani Gurbachan Singh has come in as third after doing seva for over 36 years in the SGPC.� He is currently the appointed head of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib.� Aside from the Akal Takhat Sahib Jathedar, no other Jathedar has made it to the list.

Truth of the matter is that manmohan is to Sonia what zail was to Indira Gandhi. He has not any of this own identity. This list is prepared to get some benefits from ruling people. Moreover akal takhat jathedar is just the appointee of Badals nothing more than that.
This list has been fabricated to highlight those Sikhs who are willing to compromise their values and sell themselves to their masters. I am sure many including non-Sikhs would not equate the word ‘powerful’ with Manmohan Singh. The man is nothing more than a puppet, a joke of a man. The most powerful man amongst the Sikhs still remains ‘Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale”, 30 years after his death his name still sends shivers down the spine of the corrupt Indian government.
