:dateline:Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara, Jathedar Babbar Khalsa, has written a letter asking the Sikh Nation to remember the martyrdom of Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh on October 31.� In his letter written from the Tihar Jail, Bhai Hawara has stated that October 31st will be remembered by Indian loyalists as the �martyrdom� day of Indira Gandhi; however the Sikhs will remember it as the day when Bhai Beant Singh brought the egotistical Prime Minister to Justice for her crimes against humanity.
Indira Gandhi ordered a full scale military attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib during religious festivities, which resulted in the slaughter of thousands of Sikhs and the destruction of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib.� Her son, Rajiv Gandhi openly encouraged and led the anti-Sikh pogroms throughout India in November 1984.
