Punjabi Man Killed by Unidentified Gunmen in Philippines

:dateline:A Punjabi man was killed by unidentified gunmen while travelling on a national highway in the Philippines, the media here reported�on Wednesday.

Jaswinder Singh, 38, a resident of Batac City, was driving in his car with his cousin Amarinder Singh to llocos Sur when motorcycle-borne gunmen ambushed them�on Tuesday.

Jaswinder was rushed to a hospital in Batac City with multiple gunshot wounds, while his cousin escaped unhurt.

The police are yet to determine the identity of the gunmen and the motive for the attack, the Philippines Star reported.

Jaswinder is the second Punjabi to be killed in a shooting in the Philippines in less than two months. In August, Ramandeep Singh Gill was gunned down by unidentified men at Old Emars Beach Resort.
