Genocidal Narendra Modi in UK: Petition to David Cameron Gains Momentum

LONDON, UK—An online petition was launched recently after the visit by Narendra Modi was publicized in the UK.  Modi is responsible for genocidal attacks in which over 2,000 Muslims from Gujarat were massacred.  The petition expresses concern at the invitation of Modi to address the House of Commons by the Labour Friends of India and the Conservative Friends of India.

The petition highlights that Narendra Modi’s “past visits to the UK have been used to raise extensive funds and support for communal violence, and a visit at this time when Modi is launching a campaign to become India’s next Prime Minister, and continues to try to gain votes using openly [fascist] and anti-minority rhetoric, would be particularly dangerous. ”

The British Government has in the past issued visas to persons responsible for genocides in India.  In particular, issuance of visas to people like Narendra Modi, Jagdish Tytler, Amitabh Bachchan, Parkash Badal and KP Gill have hurt the sentiments of various Indian minorities now living in England.  The petition has highlighted that previously the UK and other European Governments were compelled to distance from Modi however recent attempts have been made to rehabilitate the genocide instigator.

The petition is available at this link.

  1. Are we all pakis now? Why? Because we feel a genocidal fascist should be denied entry into Britain? Fine if that stance makes us paki’s in your mind then so be it. We stand for what is right, your actions define you not your claimed faith/ethnicity/nationality.

  2. It shows what stupid, idiot and bastard politicians do in India and Pakistan. They have no respect for humanity as long as they can fill their own pockets. Then they take this wealth with them to hell or heaven that is what they think. The poor people are left without anything some do not even eat daily.
Then these idiots think they are great Gandhi, Nehru were the same

  3. Mr. Raj we are hummans first. Sikhs faced similar atrocities during 1984 riots. The truth is Narendra Modi did not peform his dharma of saving the minority community and let the innocent muslims killed by hindu mobs period. Why bring Pakistan into this, there are so many instances where the majority community committed atrocities on the minorities.

    • Raj,

We as Sikhs do not believe that a genocidal fascist like Modi should be allowed entry into the UK. Whatever that stance leads you to believe about us/Sikhs is frankly of no importance. It is your actions that define you, not your claimed faith/ethnicity/nationality.

      • Sukhbir,
Go and file petition first for all Indian Congress man in UK.. Those who killed people of our own community in 1984… Feeling pitty on u and ur biased approach..

      • Sirji, you wont mind people like Gandhis who happened to be at the helm of GOI when Sikhs were massacred. I am a hindu and have always held Sikhs as the “Taaj” of India. But such comments making me think twice!
