:dateline:In his upcoming Abhinav Kashyap film�Besharam, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen wearing a turban like a Sardar in the song�Aa Re Aa Re. The actor has played a Sikh before in�Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year, and while that look was authentic, beard et al, this time he is clean shaven. An oversight that may not go down too well with a fraction of the Sikh community, as has happened in the past.
It may be recalled that the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) had raised an objection to Akshay Kumar sporting a trimmed beard while playing a Sikh in Vipul Shah�s�Singh is King�(2008). The committee had then sought a ban on the film and the main objection was Akshay�s� trimmed beard which they found offensive. The film was given a green light after the makers complied to the 12 changes suggested by the committee.
In this case however, producer Himanshu Mehra feels that there should be no objection at all. He says, �Ranbir is not playing a Sardar in the film, but only sporting a pagdi for this song. In fact, the song is one of the highlights of the film and Ranbir has sported the pagdi with a great sense of pride, so we don�t think anyone should have an objection to that. We are sure once they see the whole song, they will all understand what we are talking about.
It is in no way aimed to offend anyone or any community. I think it�s an honour to sport the pagdi and we have treated it with due respect too and we hope people realise that.�
He adds, �The song is a fun number not meant to hurt anyone�s sentiments.�

7. Most of Amritdharies have their business partner those trim beard or cut hair.
8. Most of Amritdharies have their business that haul or sell Tobacco or/and dead meat or related products.
9. Most of Amritdharies consume alcohol and eat meat.
10. Most of Amritdharies attend party or ceremony where they share their food touched by trimmer or clean shaven Sikhs, Christians, Hindus and Muslims.
11. Most of Amritdharies were/are traveling buses and trains full of tobacco smoke, alcohol and meat.

14. Most of Amritdharies were/are working places that use tobacco, alcohol and meat.
15. Most of Amritdharies were/are having business locations that use tobacco, alcohol and meat.

17. Most of Amritdharies share toilet/rest room facilities with tobacco, alcohol and meat consumers.
18. Most of Amritdharies sharing breathing air with tobacco, alcohol and meat consumers at entertainment locations.
19. Most of Amritdharies go shopping department�s stores that cook meat real time.
20. Most of Amritdharies shopping department�s stores that serve alcohol real time.
21. Most of Amritdharies family members do not cover their head while going out with them.
22. Most of Amritdharies buy and use clothes and other material manufactured while using tobacco, alcohol and meat.
23. Most of Amritdharies accept donations from individual or business those sell/buy tobacco, alcohol and meat.
24. Most of Amritdharies beg donation from Non-Amritdhari and trimmed beard Sikhs.
25. 100% Amritdharies survival is directly or indirectly linked to trimmed beard and clean shaven Sikhs.
It is matter of time that Amritdharies will be exposed with technology their Double/triple/quadruple life living standards. It is time that Amritdharies mends their ego and must change their attitude toward honest and dedicated Sikhs those are not show case but 100% faith in Guru Ji�s teaching.
How Amritdharies dare to operate business to produce or sell items to other children as they wish that their children not to consume ( eat, drink or smoke)?
I challenge that our Sikh institutions will be facing bankruptcy within few years, if they stop trimmed beards Sikh members from participation in Sikh religion place and stop accepting their donations.
i am not amritdhari.. but your post is offensive to any sikh amritthari or not its utter rubbish. you think amrit tharis look down on non amrittharis.. i am sorry but you are doing the same.. yh i am sure every amritthari may not be humble and accepting like they should be..but your post reflects a great deal of hatred towards amrittharis…hatred toward guru jis roop!!
i dont see why its problem as long as amrit thari people arent consuming alcohol themselves and not eating meat themselves. some do but thats because our panths been so broken… sgpc says you can eat meat and sadly people try to change rehit because they have hard time changing themselves. i have met many amrit tharis that do sega, are really humble…and dont judge which is why i got more into sikhi… because sangat gave me a lot of love and didnt judge me!!! there are people out there that are full of love.and some of those people are amrit thari…!!! there are amritharis that remind you of guru sahib himself and if my friend, you are only willing to focus on the negatives you aren’t going to become a better sikh or a better person…

people who create noise are not specifically amritdharis. now the mentioned things in your post are baseless and totally illogical. when there are more number of non-amritdharis/trimmers, what do you expect amritdharis to do?

We�re very thorough knowledge of Amrit, its purpose and Amritdharies who are not near to Guru Ji�s teaching most of them are crook, cheater and thugs. Some does not want to listen music, complaint or pat attention it is consider noise.
We studied logic and apply for our living but most of the Amritdharies are non-logical, please screen them.
Being few numbers Amritdharies suck the non-amritdharies faith, donations plus bully, threat, fight and kill under the umbrella of religion.
Please follow Guru Ji�s teaching and regain respect which was alive until 1925 hence do not prove CLAT (stop- Cheating, , Lie, Arguments and Threats).
Why are we blaming Ranbir Kapoor for being turban-shaved when in reality majority of Sikh youth in India and abroad look exactly like him? Double-standards?
