:dateline:Another clash has taken place between the SGPC and the Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Committee.� This past Sunday, the Satkar Committee officials, including Bhai Balbir Singh Mucchal, confiscated Gurbani pothis from Sri Amritsar Sahib railway station and alleged that they were not being transported with respect.� The Satkar Committee Singhs alleged that pothis of Gurbani were found within cardboard boxes.
The Satkar Committee officials took notice of this grave violation and confiscated the Gurbani pothis.� The matter was then brought to the notice of the railway staff who have registered a case against �Bhai Chattar Singh Jeevan Singh� for providing the Gurbani pothis to Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle (Lucknow) in a cardboard box.
The SGPC, which has long opposed the Satkar Committee, alleged that it is okay to carry Gurbani pothis within boxes as this has supposedly been permitted by Sri Akal Takhat Sahib.� Avtar Makkar alleged that the actions of the Satkar Committee were too stern and would distance people from Gurbani.� Makkar further alleged that the Satkar Committee is in violation for taking matters into its own hands without notifying Sri Akal Takhat Sahib.
Bhai Mucchal alleged that Gurbani sacrilege was evident when they had reached the spot.� He expressed dissatisfaction with the SGPC Chief over his continuous attempts to disrepute them.
