:datelineThe director and producer of the movie Sadda Haq, �Kuljinder Singh Sidhu and Dinesh Sood enjoyed warm welcome in various parts of Canada during their ongoing trip. Fans of the movie, especially the Canadian Sikh youth, were present in large numbers during the special screenings organized to honour Sidhu and Sood.
Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Society in Abbotsford and Khalsa Diwan Society in New Westminister felicitated Kuljinder Singh and Dinesh Sood in a huge gathering held in various Gurudwaras. Expressing his gratitude, Sidhu said that he �would continue making such movies carrying meaningful historic significance. He said that the role of �Punjabi foreign masses has greatly contributed to the success of the movie.
“Many misconceptions related to the Sikh struggle have been removed,” said Dinesh Sood. He said that only during the production of the movie did he become aware of the brutal suffering that the Sikh community had to face.
Sidhu and Sood spent a considerable time with their fans taking pictures and signing autographs in the Hollywood Theatre of Surrey.
The movie Sadda Haq, based on the freedom struggle in Punjab, has been receiving world wide appreciation after its release.
