Spanish Delegates Pay Homage at Sri Keshgarh Sahib

:dateline:Strengthening the ties between India and Spain, a team of delegates from Spain visited Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib today. �Stating the purpose of their visit, Miguel Diaz (Chairman) said that the Spanish government is making efforts to promote the game of Lawn Tennis in Punjab, especially among the rural youth. An agreement regarding the same is expected to take place between the two countries on 17 May.

Jagjeet Puri (Media Marketing Manager and retired IAS) accompanied the team and said that currently about 100 youth sponsored by the governments of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh are undergoing training in Chandigarh. Out of these, 15 players would be selected and sent to Spain for advanced training.

The team of delegates included Miguel Diaz, Carlos Almazan (Executive Director) and Maria Brajos were felicitated by Jathehdar Giani Tarlochan Singh.

The team expressed their gratitude and wrote their experiences in the visitor book.
