Alive BSF Soldier Jailed in Pakistan Declared a Martyr Years Ago by India

:dateline:As Sarabjeet Singh’s bhog Ceremony took place in Tarn Taran in the presence of numerous dignitaries, a women Harjit Kaur from Rajatal village �tried to gain attention towards her and was forced out by the security.

On talking to media persons, she informed about her father’s plight Joginder Singh from BSF squad. �Her father was made a prisoner of war in 1971 and is still in Pakistani jail. She accused the Punjab government of declaring him a martyr by submitting a martyr certificate when he was very much alive in jail however mentally unstable.

Targeting Harsimrat Kaur Badal’s Nannhi Chaa Movement, she expressed the duality of Punjab Government where they claimed to stand for the rights of women, when women like her are made to suffer.

She said she wanted the Punjab government to take up her father’ case and give justice to her family.
