—Our sources have confirmed that Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana is still lodged in Patiala Jail and has not been taken to Delhi’s Tihar Jail as being claimed by many sources. It is also important to mention that the Supreme Court has not rejected President’s clemency, only various petitions filed by different third parties. The news of Bhai Balwant Singh’s execution to go on has spread on various news websites, most of them relating to Shiv Sena terrorists. The Delhi Bhaksar, a right-wing facist Shiv Sena supporter, published a news stating that Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana will be hanged as per initial orders. This is not correct, however we still appeal to Sikh Sangat to remain vigilant.
The Dainik Bhaksar reporters were seeing accompanying Shiv Sena terrorists in Gurdaspur and they are responsible for spreading rumors that led to clash between the two communities, leaving a young Singh dead. Actions should be taken to put such people behind the bars so they do not disrupt the peace in Punjab by misguiding the people.
