Sikh Censor Board Constituted to Examine Movies to be Shot on Sikhism

AMRITSAR SAHIB—Keeping in view the rising violation of Sikh tenets in the movies being produced about Sikhism, the SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has constituted a 21 member Sikh Censor Board to examine such movies. Beside it, a direction has been issued to all the movie makers to firstly get nod from Sri Akal Takht Sahib before making any movie on Sikhism.  

Information released by Sri Akal Takht Sahib Secretariat reveals that the newly constituted Sikh Censor Board has been set to thoroughly examine the scenes to be shot in the proposed movies about Sikhism and then report about it to Akal Takht Jathedar.

Names of the 21 members of Sikh Censor Board are as follow:
