BREAKING: Sirsa cult disciples threaten Sikh preacher in Lambi constituency

LAMBI, Punjab—Sikh preacher Bhai Kuldeep Singh, who addresses religious discourse in a Gurdwara Sahib of village Bidowal situated in Lambi constituency, has been reportedly threatened by three Sirsa cult disciples today. Trio of the Sirsa cult disciples invaded into Gurdwara Sahib and asked him to stop addressing religious discourse or remain ready to face consequences.

It is pertinent to note here that former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Badal is sitting MLA of Lambi constituency.

Sikh preacher Bhai Kuldeep Singh told the media that when he came out after addressing religious discourse in Gurdwara Sahib of village Bidowal today, three Sirsa cult disciples surrounded him inside the Gurdwara Sahib and started accusing him of speaking against Sirsa cult. He added that he didn’t speak anything negative against Sirsa cult instead he was just appealing the Sikh masses to quit cult culture while naming several prominent cults of area. “When I asked them to bring third party witness if I spoke anything negative against Sirsa cult and if the witness will say that I utter anything negative against Sirsa cult then I will apologize. But they started threatening me to stop addressing religious discourse from tomorrow or remain ready to face consequences,” he said.

Bhai Kuldeep Singh said that the debate with them might have turned into violent clash but they didn’t dare to do so seeing Sri Sahib in his hand.

A village resident informed that the persons who threatened Bhai Kuldeep Singh were involved in the violence carried out by Sirsa cult disciples in Panchkula after arrest of Gurmeet Ram Rahim in Panchkula’s CBI Court. He added that the village Panchayat had falsely defended one of them (Mohan Premi) from getting arrested by giving a written note to the Police.

Sarbat Khalsa appointed Jathedar Baljit Singh Daduwal, who reached on spot after getting apprised of incident, said that the Akali-BJP alliance had infused confidence in followers of various anti-Sikh cults by giving them freedom to do anything in Punjab. He added that he has come to know that some Congress affiliated legislators and ministers were pressurizing Captain Amarinder Singh to provide similar freedom to these cult followers which is highly condemnable. Reminding Captain Amarinder Singh of the shameful end of Akali-BJP rule in Punjab, Baba Daduwal said that if Congress adopted same policy as of Akali-BJP government then it will also suffer of same consequences in future.

Speaking to Sikh24, Sikh activist Bhai Papalpreet Singh has said that the Sikh community was facing the challenges sowed by the former Akali-BJP government. He added that what could be worse than it that these anti-Sikh cult disciples have now started threatening Sikh preachers to stop addressing religious discourse. “Congress government’s initiative of reopening Sirsa cult’s branches have built up confidence of these blind disciples to do anything in Punjab” he added.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that Police have registered an FIR against these three Sirsa cult disciples and two Sirsa cult disciples have been arrested by the Police while the third one named Mohan Premi is on run. Villagers have revealed that Mohan Premi was also involved in laundering black money of Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
