AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Speaking with Sikh24 on February 25, SGPC President Gobind Singh Longowal said that the SGPC was chalking out a plan to ensure proper imposition of Sikh Code of Conduct in Gurdwaras built inside the jails of Punjab. He added that all the priests serving in the Gurdwaras of Jails will be provided special training by the SGPC by organizing Gurmat Training Camps.
Longowal further said that the SGPC will also send the preachers in Punjab jails to apprise the prisoners with Gurbani and Sikh history.
Raising concerns over the rising Drug menace and gangster culture in Punjab, Longowal said that the Drug victim youths could be brought back to normal life by encouraging them towards Sikhism.
