NEW DELHI—Former Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Harvinder Singh Phoolka has written a letter to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking custodial interrogation of 1984 Sikh genocide culprit Jagdish Tytler. Beside it, he has also accused the CBI team of acting in biased manner towards Jagdish Tytler during probe of cases pertaining to 1984 Sikh genocide.
Phoolka has further written in the letter that the Nanavati Commission had approved Jagdish Tytler’s presence in orchestrators of 1984 Sikh genocide. He added that Jagdish Tytler was also a part of Hindu mob which killed three innocent Sikhs in a Gurdwara Sahib of Pulbangash area but the CBI team has failed in proving him guilty.
“The CBI has given clean chit to Jagdish Tytler three times by filing closure report against him and each time CBI’s closure report was quashed by the Court” wrote Phoolka.
Citing the trial of a case in Karkardooma Court, Phoolka has written that an investigation officer of CBI had termed a witness against Jagdish Tytler as ‘blackmailer’ in the Court. He has further informed the Indian PM Modi that the CBI didn’t record versions of witnesses against Tytler while the versions of pro-Tytler witnesses were recorded. “When the Court questioned CBI team of not recording versions of 22 witnesses then the CBI termed it as its right to decide on this matter,” he added.
Meanwhile, SAD-BJP affiliated Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Parliamentarian Naresh Kumar Gujral on February 9 also met the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh seeking Tytler’s arrest. The duo parliamentarians also urged the Union Home Minister to order probe about role of Jagdish Tytler and other Congress leaders in Sikh genocide on the basis of Tytler’s confessions.
Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal told the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh that Jagdish Tytler could be seen making statements that proves him one of the chief orchestrators of Sikh genocide. She also expressed concern over inaction against Jagdish Tytler by the probing agencies even after four days of becoming Jagdish Tytler’s confessional videos public.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that Rajnath Singh has forwarded the confessional video clips of Jagdish Tytler to Justice Dhingra, who is heading the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the Supreme Court of India to investigate Sikh genocide cases.
Harsimrat Kaur Badal today wrote on his Facebook wall, “Thank you Rajnath Singh ji for informing me that all fresh evidence submitted by Shiromani Akal Dal against Jagdish Tytler and Congress has been forwarded by Home Ministry to Justice Dhingra so that the SIT can investigate the role of Tytler and others in 1984 carnage. Hope justice prevails now!”.
It may be recalled here that the DSGMC president S. Manjit Singh GK had made public the confessional videos of Sikh genocide perpetrator Jagdish Tytler on February 5. In these videos, Tytler could be listened of confessing the murder of 100 innocent Sikhs during the 1984’s Sikh genocide.

There is no shame for these Badal’s . They want to cash on this information so they can be viewed favorably by Sikhs. No Sikh should forget this family was in power in Punjab for two decades and what did they do for the Sikhs absolutely nothing instead they hurt them on every point.
