Confiscate Tytler’s Passport: Akali Leaders ask Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Addressing a press conference at Chandigarh, the Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Badal and the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee chief Manjit Singh GK appealed the Indian government to seize Jagdish Tytler’s passport. The duo leaders said that Jagdish Tytler might flee abroad as there was no way left behind for him to escape prosecution.

The duo leaders further said that Tytler’s confessions have made it clear that the former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and his family had direct role in orchestrating the genocide of Sikhs during 1984 Sikh genocide. They added that the Special Investigation Team constituted by the Supreme Court of India will unearth the perpetrators of 1984’s Sikh genocide.

Sukhbir Badal also gave reference of Nanavati Commission report about Jagdish Tytler’s involvement in engineering the Sikh genocide of 1984. He added that Nanavati Commission had straightforwardly reported that maximum casualties occurred in areas traversed by the then Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.  

Sukhbir Badal also expressed concern over the suspicious role being played by the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to defend Jagdish Tytler from getting punished in a Sikh genocide case. Notably, the Forensic Science Laboratory of Delhi has been excusing of fault in machine to be used for Lie Detection Test (Polygraph Test) from the last three months.
