ABOHAR, Punjab—One of the most dreadful gangster of Punjab, Harjinder alias Vicky Gounder has been shot dead by the Punjab police in an encounter occurred at village Panjawa near Abohar. His aide Prema Lahoria and one another named Budha also got killed in this encounter. Lakhwinder Lakha, who had enshrined Vicky Gounder at his residence situated at Punjab-Rajasthan border, has been also arrested by the Police.
It has come to fore that the Punjab police team had succeeded in tracing Vicky Gounder after prolonged search operation and was following him from the last 2-3 days.
Sources have informed that the dead bodies of Vicky Gounder and Prema Lahoria have been kept in Civil Hospital of Abohar.
Highly hailing the Punjab police cops for giving an end to Gangster’s era in Punjab, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has congratulated the Punjab police.
“Congratulations to Punjab Police for killing most wanted gangster Vicky Gounder and his aide Prema Lahoria. Excellent work by DGP Suresh Arora, DGP Intelligence Dinkar Gupta and OCCU team, including AIG Gurmeet Singh and Inspector Vikram Brar. Proud of you boys” he tweeted.
It may be recalled here that Vicky Gounder had escaped from Maximum Security Jail of Nabha on November 27, 2016.
Since when police became judge and jury. No matter how bad the criminal is still deserves a day in court. have you forgotten thousands and thousands some estimates over 200000 Sikhs were killed by the same police in fake encounters.
