Dal Khalsa’s Founding Member Bhai Manmohan Singh’s Funeral To Take place on Nov 25 in Southall, UK

LONDON, Britain—UK based septuagenarian Sikh activist Bhai Manmohan Singh’s funeral will take place on November 25.  Bhai Manmohan Singh passed away in London on November 20 after a prolonged illness. He was a founding member pro-freedom Sikh outfit Dal Khalsa and had moved to UK shortly after imposition of ban on Dal Khalsa in 1982.

Bhai Manmohan Singh breathed last at a Hospital in London during morning hours of November 20.

Funeral will take place at South West Middlesex Crematorium at 11 AM as per the details below. Antim ardas and bhog will be held at the Park Avenue Gurdwara in Southall at noon.

Bhai Manmohan Singh was a staunch Khalistani supporter who remained active in UK for campaigning against violation of human rights in Punjab till his death. He was blacklisted by the Indian government since 1982.

Sources have informed that the Indian officials had recently approached Bhai Manmohan Singh in UK to offer him removal of his name from the black list but he bluntly refused to accept the Indian government’s proposal and remained adamant on his stand in favour of establishment of a sovereign Sikh state.
