SGPC Honors Khalsa Aid for Service to Humanity

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—UK based charitable Sikh organization Khalsa Aid was honored by the SGPC on November 10 with a cash reward worth Rupees 250,000, a silver saucer and siropao for its pro-humanity work on international level.

Representatives of Khalsa Aid including its Asia Chief Amarpreet Singh, Parampal Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Gursahib Singh, Tejinderpal Singh, Harpreet Singh and others received this honor from the apex Sikh body SGPC.

SGPC President Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar said on this occasion that the Khalsa Aid has truly followed the teachings of the great Sikh masters by serving the victims of natural disasters on international level. He expressed hope that the Khalsa Aid will keep on serving the humanity in similar way.

Khalsa Aid is an international non-profit aid and relief organization founded on the Sikh principles of selfless service and universal love. Founded in 1999, it is a UK Registered Charity (#1080374) with the UK Charities Commission and also has volunteers in North America & Asia. Khalsa Aid has provided relief assistance to victims of disasters, wars, and other tragic events around the world.
