BREAKING: Gurdwara Sahib Attacked by Drunk Men in Mukatsar Sahib

MUKATSAR SAHIB, Punjab—A shocking incident of attack on a Gurdwara Sahib situated in Mukatsar Sahib by 8 drunk men related has come to fore. The attackers hurled stones on Gurdwara Sahib and even attacked the Granthi (Priest) Gursangat Singh in the evening hours.   

Sources have informed that the men who were drunk stormed the Gurdwara Baba Chanan Singh situated in Street No. 3 of Bhullar Colony in Mukatsar Sahib during evening hours and started hurling stones. The attackers were led by a person named Gabbar.  Three have been arrested by the police and investigations are taking place to arrest rest of the persons.

Fortunately, the Granthi (Priest) Gursangat Singh was present inside the Gurdwara Sahib and he opposed the attackers. On seeing Gursangat Singh inside the Gurdwara premises, the attackers moved inside and started scuffling with him. Gursangat Singh’s turban came off his head during scuffling. The attackers used extremely vulgar language to abuse the Granthi Singh and his family.

Sikh24 has learnt that the Police arrived on spot but the attackers even tried to attack the Police and used abusing language for Police cops.
