Gurmat Samagam held in Talwandi Sabo in memory of Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh

TALWANDI SABO, Punjab—Commemorated to the martyrdom of Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji, a Gurmat Samagam was organized by the SGPC at Mata Sahib Kaur Girls College in Talwandi Sabo. College students manifested their skills in Shabad Kirtan, Waar Gayan / Kavishari (ballad signing), Gatka, Religious Lecture, Choreography and Poetry in this Gurmat Samagam.

SGPC President Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar and Junior Vice President Baba Buta Singh were special guests of this program.  

Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar said that the entire Sikh history was a matchless tale of fight against atrocities and injustice. He added that Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh was also a precious gem of Sikh history who erected an example for future generations by sacrificing his life for the Sikh faith.

SGPC appointed Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh said that such Gurmat Samagams were need of hour to encourage the younger generation towards Sikhi. He expressed hope that these Samagams will give positive result and the young generation will adopt Sikh values in their lives.

After the program, Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, the SGPC President Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar, Junior Vice President Baba Buta Singh inaugurated the Science Block built by Baba Labh Singh led Kaar Sewa seminary in the college.
