AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Commemorated to the 483rd birth anniversary of fourth Sikh master Sri Guru Ram Das Ji, a special transcendental Raag Darbar was organized at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall on October 7. The Raag Darbar was initiated by students of Central Khalsa Orphanage by reciting Gurbani verses in Raags specified by Guru Sahib.
Raagi Jathas of Bhai Gurmeet Singh Shant, Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa, Dr. Gurinder Singh Batala, Bhai Kuldeep Singh, Bhai Rai Singh, Bhai Ravinder Singh, Bibi Rajwinder Kaur, Bhai Harjit Singh & Bhai Gurdeep Singh Delhi Wale, Bhai Gurdev Singh Australia, Bhai Harjot Singh Zakhmi and Chardi Kala Jatha (USA) performed Gurbani Kirtan in different raags.
This Raag Darbar was also attended by the SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh and Head Granthi of Sri Harmandir Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh along with other prominent Sikh leaders.
Giani Balwinder Singh, Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, Giani Puran Singh, Giani Mohan Singh, SGPC General Secretary S. Amarjit Singh Chawla, Executive member Bhai Ram Singh, SGPC member Bibi Kiranjot Kaur and SGPC Secretary Dr. Roop Singh were present.
