AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—In relation to the FIR registered against senior Akali leader, Sucha Langaah raping a woman, the Gurdaspur police have now issued a lookout notice for him. Several states have been issued the notice to convey word if they see Langaah in their constituencies.
Meanwhile, sources have revealed that Langaah has moved a petition in the Punjab & Haryana High Court, seeking bail. The High Court’s registry unit has received the petition’s copy but the registry unit is still to clarify his objections and decide whether to conduct a hearing on this petition.
Sucha appeared before a Chandigarh court yesterday but he was re-directed to appear before the Gurdaspur Court.
The SGPC finally responded to the viral sex video tirade, when the SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh announced he has called a meeting of SGPC appointed Takht Jathedars on October 5. He advises they are to deliberate on what action to taken against Langaah.
In the meantime, SGPC President Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar accepted the resignation of Langaah yesterday.
