CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Former Sirsa cult disciple Vishwas Gupta, husband of Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s alleged foster daughter, Honeypreet Insan, made a shocking revelation on September 22 while interacting with media. He reported that the Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim had framed him in five false cases and had paid a million Rupees to a cop to have him killed in the jail. He added that he was thrashed brutally by the policeman and his accomplices.
In a sensational disclosure, Vishwas Gupta told the media that it was Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana who had saved him at that time. “I would have been killed if Bhai Rajoana had not come to rescue me at that time”, he added.
He further told the media that Bhai Rajoana had even warned the jail’s superintendent that if any harm done to him (Gupta) then the culprit won’t be spared, whosoever he might be.
Vishwas Gupta, who broke down while telling the tragic tale of atrocities of Gurmeet Ram Rahim, said that he considers Bhai Rajoana like a God for him because he had saved his life.
It is pertinent to note here that Vishwas Gupta even motioned the court to expose the so called father-daughter relationship of Gurmeet Ram Rahim and Honeypreet Insan, but he was threatened into withdrawomg case by Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
Balwant Singh Rajoana is the prime accused and death row convict in the assassination of Beant Singh (former Chief Minister of Punjab) who was assassinated on 31 August 1995. Bhai Rajoana was sentenced to death on 1 August 2007 by a special CBI court in Chandigarh. Former Punjab CM Beant Singh was killed by Bhai Balwant Singh’s associate Shaheed Bhai Dilawar Singh Babbar. Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana was the backup human bomb to be used in case if Bhai Dilawar Singh failed his mission.
