AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—With the rising number of devotees visiting Harmandar Sahib on a daily basis, the SGPC has decided to install four new machines to cook rotis (chapatti) in Sri Guru Ramdas Langar. Over 100,000 devotees partake in the free food offered at Sri Guru Ramdas Langar situated within the complex.
Manager Raghbir Singh Mand said that the new machines will have the capacity to cook more than 6,000 rotis per hour. He added that two new machines will be installed in the extended portion of langar building.
