Surprisingly, a Congress leader Mandeep Singh Manna had submitted the complaint to Giani Gurbachan Singh on August 8, acting on which the SGPC was directed to probe the matter.

SGPC’s executive members S. Surjit Singh Bhittewind and S. Harjap Singh Sultanwind, SGPC Secretary Dr. Roop Singh and Additional Secretary S. Harbhajan Singh Manawa have been appointed in the committee, to submit a report within 15 days.
