548th Parkash Anniversary: Sikh devotees asked to submit passports before August 14

FEROZEPUR, Punjab—The Bhai Mardana Memorial Kirtan Darbar Society has appealed the Sikh devotees who want to be a part of Guru Nanak Sahib’s 548th parkash anniversary celebrations at Nankana Sahib (Pakistan) to submit their passports before August 14 . Interested Sikh devotees can submit their passports before August 14 at the office of Bhai Mardana Society in Baghdadi gate of Ferozepur.

Speaking with Sikh24, the President of Bhai Mardana Society S. Harpal Singh Bhullar said that the interested Sikhs can submit their passports along with 4 passport size photographs, a copy of Aadhar card or Voter Card and a valid phone number at office of society. He added that as per protocol it is necessary to send documentation of all visa candidates to the Evacuee Trust Property Board 45 days before applying for visa.

He further informed that the Sikh devotees will have glimpse of Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Patti Sahib, Gurdwara Bal Leela Tambu Sahib, Gurdwara Kiara Sahib, Gurdwara Maal Ji Sahib, Gurdwara Sacha Sauda, Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Gurdwara Dehra Sahib (Lahore), Gurdwara Janam Asthan Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji (Chuna Mandi, Lahore), Gurdwara Shaheed Singh Singhnia (Lahore), Gurdwara Bhai Lalo Di Khuhi and Gurdwara Chakki Sahib during this 10 days pilgrimage.

Every years, Sikhs in large numbers attend the parkash anniversary programs of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Pakistan.  Sikh Jathas from West Punjab and other parts of the World arrive here to join in celebrations.  This over, over 500 have already submitted application for visa.
