Message: To be all tied up in threads or…?
This world is fragile like a thread of cotton.
Furthermore, the world is trapped by allurements of worldly riches and power, tied all around by excessive worldly attachment and greed.
We need a spiritual teacher or mentor to guide our ignorant minds.
When, after our struggle and every effort, everything seems to fail we turn to rituals and hope they might provide us some solace. However, the knots of worldly attachment do not weaken.
It’s only after further exhaustion that we realise the necessity of the Guru’s presence in our life.
The Guru’s teachings will help us to rein in our mind and overcome our delusion and false pretension.
With spiritual advancement, we become more conscious of the flimsy nature of the world and the need to break away from the bondage of our excessive desires.
If we loosen the bondage of our excessive desires, we will move closer to our inner self. And connect with the reservoir of spiritual energy which pervades all life in the universe. We will experience spiritual peace.
