AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Controversial Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim has once again taken a stab at Sikh sentiments by mocking the Sikh identity. In his new movie Jattu Engineer, he disrespects the top knot (joorha) of Sikh youth by replacing it with a potato. He adds further insult by directing his cult followers to attend the movie showing at the theaters by imitating the tied hair of Sikhs by placing a potato on their heads and then tying a small turban on their heads.
Despite sharp wrath among Sikh masses, the apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has been noted to be tight-lipped against Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
On being contacted by Sikh24, the SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh said that the matter would be discussed in the upcoming meeting of five the Sikh high priests.
Sikh24 also made numerous attempts to contact the SGPC President Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar but it appeared as if lines were purposefully closed to prevent communication.
Meanwhile, Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib (appointed at the Sarbat Khalsa of 2015′) Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal has said that the Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim was continuously hurting Sikh sentiments with the support of Indian government. He has blamed the government for supporting his anti-Sikh activities.

In the end, the Sikh youth and men will get injured/ killed in this fight. The police will only protect Ram Rahim from ‘radical Sikhs’. The Sikh will suffer in jails and their families will suffer social and economic pressure. The court cases will take years and result in nothing.
DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO PROVOKE US.

RAM RAHIM IS JUST DOING HIS BUSINESS. HE IS ONLY FRONT END PROP IN THE SHOW. THE MASTER PLAYERS HAVE ALLOWED HIM TO CONTINUE HIS BUSINESS, IF HE WORKS AS PER ‘THE PLANS’.
LET THE SGPC AND AKAL TAKHT SAHIB MAKE CALCULATED MOVES.
