PADUA, Italy—News of bid to attack Sikh preacher Bhai Panthpreet Singh in Italy has come to fore today. It is learnt that Sikh preacher Bhai Panthpreet Singh’s opponents tried to attack him in a Gurdwara Sahib in Padua city situated on Milan-Venus national highway in Italy.
This is not the first time Bhai Panthpreet Singh has faced opposition in Italy. He had to face similar protests last year in July when he was on tour of the country.
In July 2016, Sikh sangat held a Q/A session with Bhai Panthpreet Singh, however he refused to answer questions in regards to his anti-Panthik statements. Sangat in Italy asked parcharak Panthpreet Singh to discuss his past statements against the power of sarovars, against the power of matha tekna in front of Guru Granth Sahib, and against Dasam bani and about his closeness with the likes of Inder Ghagga and Darshan Ragi.
It is pertinent to note here that Bhai Panthpreet Singh is strongly opposed to followers of the Damdami Taksal. Prima facie reveals the similar situation behind bid to attack Bhai Panthpreet Singh but the exact reason is yet to be confirmed.
His stand has always been pro panthic. He has answered all questions put to him in the light of Gurbani but the taksalis have a completely different interpretation of those verses. They should learn to respect the views of others and not behave like hooligans. Their behavior itself should make them realise that they have drifted so far away from the Sikhi of our Gurus and the philosophy of SGGS Ji, our living Guru.

It is so strange the persons who follow the order of Guru Gobind Singh ji and follow Guru Granth Sahib ji as their living Guru are subjected to this violence. In march 2017 an organisation in Germany tried their best to have discussion on the controversial subject but at the last moment guess who backed out” these proponents of Bachittar natak”. and now they are attacking a preacher. If these people think they can get their way by using heavy handed techniques then they are mistaken. Ultimately the truth which is Guru Granth Sahib ji will prevail.
I agree. Dasam bani was not given the title of Guru.
