Message: Princely Joys!

No pain or hunger will afflict us if we have the Divine, the Giver of all comforts in our mind.

When the Divine (in the form of divine wisdom and virtues) abides in our heart, with a renewed calm and an intelligent mind, it’s hard to fail in any undertaking.

No one can harm us if we tread the path of righteousness, since with a strong, determined and composed mind we are protected first of all from our own follies.

In this very famous hymn, the Guru tells us that if we wish to live in such a state of mind where we have no fear of, birth, death, or old age, then we should pay heed to the teachings of truthful living and conduct ourselves accordingly and thus get the Guru’s blessings.

It takes time to change the mind, but let’s start today. Let’s concentrate our minds on securing the grace of the Guru and not taking it for granted.

Etymology: Plural of khusee, from Persian khushee (joy, happiness).
