Sikh Delegation applauds Nitish Kumar’s efforts for 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji

PATNA, Bihar, India—A delegation of Sikhs headed by Giani Kewal Singh (former Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib), Bhai Baldeep Singh (Anād Foundation) and S. Surinderpal Singh (former Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Department) met the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to appreciate him for making extraordinary efforts for the 350th birth anniversary of tenth Sikh master Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

The Sikh delegation met Bihar Chief Minister in Bihar Bhawan and were warmly welcomed there by Nitish Kumar and his delegates.

Sikh leaders addressed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with the word ‘Guru Piara’ and said that he has gained blessings of tenth Sikh master Guru Gobind Singh Ji for his devotion.

The Sikh delegation further invited him to attend an award conferring function at India International Centre on March 12. The invitation has been accepted by the Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and he will be conferred award of ‘Guru Piara’ on March 12 by Giani Kewal Singh, Bhai Baldeep Singh and S. Surinderpal Singh.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had attracted attention of worldwide Sikh masses by making grand arrangements for the celebrations of 350th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Patna on January 5, 2017.
