TALWANDI SABO, Punjab—SGPC appointed Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Giani Gurmukh Singh has sought ban on the newly released movie ‘MSG Lion Heart 2’ of Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in Punjab. He has said that the movie might disturb the law & order condition in Punjab due to which the Administration should immediately ban it from hitting screens in Punjab.
Speaking to Sikh24 on February 11, Giani Gurmukh Singh said that the Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim had hurt the Sikh sentiments by wearing attire like tenth Sikh master Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He said that the Sikh masses should take initiative to stop the new movie ‘MSG Lion Heart 2’ from hitting screens in their areas. “All the Sikhs dedicated to supremacy of sacred Sikh throne Sri Akal Takht Sahib should abide by the decree directing Sikh masses to socially boycott Sirsa cult chief and his disciples,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Junior Vice President of SGPC Baba Buta Singh has also asked the Punjab government to ban Sirsa cult chief’s movie in Punjab as the screening of movie might disturb the law & order situation in Punjab.
