BERGAMO, Italy—Tendering support to Panthik candidate Jathedar Narinder Singh Khusropur, the Supreme Italian Sikh body Italy Sikh Council has said that the bringing forth leaders like Jathedar Narinder Singh Khusropur in Punjab polity was the need of hour.
Hailing the personality of Jathedar Narinder Singh Khusropur, President of Italy Sikh Council S. Jasbir Singh told Sikh24 that Khusropur’s life was enriched of sacrifices for Sikh dignity. He added that Jathedar Khusropur struggled in his entire life to defend the attacks on Sikhs in armed as well as in democratic manner.
S. Jasbir Singh further said that the Kapurthala masses ought to elect Jathedar Khusropur as their legislator because only he can put control the rising problems of drug menace and pollution in Kapurthala constituency.
Notably, Jathedar Narinder Singh Khusropur is contesting election from Kapurthala assembly constituency on ticket of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar). He is receiving a robust response in his election campaign. After thoroughly evaluating the chances of success and performance factors of candidates nominated by the Simranjit Singh Mann led Panthak Front, Jathedar Khusropur appears to be the second strongest candidate of the SAD (Amritsar) after President Simranjit Singh Mann, who is contesting the assembly polls from the Barnala constituency.
Although, mainstream media outlets of Punjab are projecting the ballot battle as a triangular contest within all of the 117 assembly constituencies, the reality on the ground within the Kapurthala constituency appears to be vastly different. It is being felt that the contest in the Kapurthala constituency was going to be quadrangular despite the wealthy approach of mainstream parties like Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal, Aam Admi Party in the election.
